Independence Day – July 4, 2016

July 4, 2016

We adopted the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, 240 years ago.

Freedom is no less important today.

Spring is here

I love the seasons, but I’ve become more aware since I hung the blue birdfeeder a couple of years ago.   The pesky squirrel, the woodpecker, the doves, the rain – all, technically,  data visualizations in a digital world telling a story.

My First Blog Post

January 16, 2006

Content will cover data visualization, politics, humanity and stuff my grandkids might find useful.

This is my first blog post using WordPress. I’m testing a number of blog systems, and I’ve never seen one as beautiful as WordPress.

They provide beautifully designed templates. I like their Categories and Comments design also. Perhaps not as easy to use as some systems, WordPress brings a natural beauty to blogging.

Garry’s Blog can be found using Blogger, Multiply, AOL Journal and others.
